“ You came near when I called you and you said, Do not fear…”
                                         Lamentations 3:57

So many times we let the things that we are scared of the most control who we are and what we do. Not me, I CHOOSE to be different. Every time I begin to have just a little bit of fear the Lord says to me, “Have no fear, I’ve got your rear.” Its funny but it always reminds me that HE is in control and He pours out his love and compassion out over my fears so that they are swept away by his love.

What does fear have to do with anything? Well, in about 14 days now I will be leaving on an adventure that the Lord wants me to go on. Not knowing what is going to happen. That’s where the fear comes in.  But God is so in control and he knows what he is doing.  I will be gone for 9 months with a group of people who are so on fire for the Lord that we as a family are going to rattle the gates of Hell and give God all the Glory.

We are going for the first 3 months to Honduras, then the next 3 to Thailand, and then finally the last 3 in South Africa.  Now I don’t know any of these languages and I am still wondering why the Lord would send ME? I know why, because he doesn’t ask us to know everything. He simply ask us to follow him and this is where he wants me for the next 9 months. I may know nothing about what is going to happen next or about these countries, but HE will let me know when the time is right. It's all about having FAITH in him. Not just sugar coated faith, but faith that can move mountains. He also doesn’t call the ones who are qualified; he qualifies the ones whom he calls.

I am excited for this step of faith in my life so that I can fully rely on him in every aspect of my life. God has got me in the palm of his hand guiding me every step of the way. It is hard to let him be in control 100% but I have come to find out that that is the best thing because I cannot do it on my own. We have to humble ourselves before him and let him take control.

This is just the beginning. I will be keeping you all posted on everything that is going on so that you can come along with me on my journey. God is REAL and ALIVE, and I CANNOT hold that inside when we are in a broken world that needs to know of His AMAZING love. There is nothing like it.

Thank you for all of your support, and thank you for taking the time to get a little glimpse of what is going on in my life right now. Please join me along my journey to see the Glory of God work through my teammates and me. I know he will bless you just by reading about his kingdom being multiplied. It will be a fun ride together. God bless.
