Taxi Please!

Imagine the steepest hill to drive up in a truck, bus, vanload of people. That’s what we have to go up and down every day and night to go to Bangla. Its so crazy. So as we were going to ministry the other night, the driver was changing gears. While changing gears something happened. This motorcycle taxi was so close to the back of the truck. He literally could touch us in the back just because he was so close. So since we are on the steepest part of the mountain, we rolled backwards. As we rolled backwards the truck hit the motor taxi.  Luckily the man on there jumped off and rolled on the road instead of letting it fall on him.

So the driver put our emergency breaks on and we were just chilling in the middle of the road with his motorbike under our truck. He had two other friends that stopped and stayed with him while he called the police. So the ones in the back of the truck got out. I was in the cab of the truck but I told them to let me out. So I get out. The police get there and make it a bigger deal than it really was. The bike wasn’t stuck It was just lying there. So they go and question the driver all the normal police questions like let me see your license, insurance, all that fun stuff.

While they are doing that us girls just begin to pray. Pray for our driver, the man, the police, just the whole situation. They wanted to take us in, so they brought another police with a truck. So now there is about six men out there with all of us.
I know that my God is a God of placing us where he needs us at the right time. So I looked at the man. He was holding his wrist off to the side just staring at his bike. He seemed upset and hurt, I mean he just ran into the back of a truck and now he’s hurt.

So I walked up to him and start asking him what is wrong and what could I do for him. I actually knew what I was about to do. I looked at Arielle and Kaci and said we are about to pray for this mans wrist so that he can move it, but more importantly to let him know that I have a God who loves him so much to make his wrist all better. So I start praying and I just let God do his work. I grabbed his wrist and the spirit came through my shoulder/arm and into his wrist. I said amen, and he turned his wrist and had the biggest look on his face. His jaw dropped, his eyes were so big, he just glowed with excitement that NOW his wrist had no pain. It was gone. You could have thought that I was someone special in his eyes. He thanked me more than any person has ever thanked me before. I said don’t thank me, thank the one who put us in this situation, Jesus.  He is the one who just healed you because

HE LOVES YOU.

He loves you so much that he would make a divine appointment with us on the mountain where they worship BUDDHAH. He then went to the police and told them what happened, or what God did through me. The police then dropped everything and said we were free to go. He picked his bike up that slid all over the road and it had NO SCRATCHES. NONE. He looked at me, hugged me, shook my hand, and drove off.

God loved him that much. He loved him so much that he wanted to cross our paths. He protected him so that he wouldn’t be so hurt, but God also wanted him to be touched by the very finger of God. He was. God used me and my boldness to talk to him and lift him up to the very lap of Jesus so that He can hold on tight to the child he loves.  I will never forget that look on his face when I said amen because that was a face of amazement in our God.

You CANNOT miss out on opportunities to show God’s love to those who you meet moment by moment. God has crossed your paths for a reason, so take advantage of that reason. If you take a step out and say God they need to see you right now, HE WILL SHOW UP THROUGH YOU. Just trust him in that. Praise God for letting me show this taxi driver God’s very love for him.
