Two Weeks ago was week was our week in the village away from our squad just as a team. Two nights before we left, we all had worship together as a squad. As I was worshiping, The Lord just wanted me to be quiet and listen to what he had to say. He asked me if I trusted him and I said yes. He also told me to remember the color pink for this week up ahead and remember the blind. I was real confused but I was obedient and did as he said.
So that Sunday we get on the bus and right as I stepped on the bus I remember the color pink. Everything I saw was that color. It was so bazar. There was men in pink, women in pink, kids, shoes, bags, food, anything and everything in my sight was pink. So right then I knew I had to tune into what he was about to do with this week in front of me. I prayed the whole way there. The bus was such an adventure in itself that you had to pray for your life almost the whole way.
Three hours and a few mountains later, we arrive. Everything is still pink, like its crazy. At this point I still haven’t told my girls what is going on with me. So we get settled in this cute little village where everyone knows each other. The way you got around were in these little mobile taxies that were so much fun to ride in or you walked.  Most of the time we just walked everywhere. So our first night we just decided to walk the streets before it got to dark. We walked with some of the girls who we were staying with. The showed us around town. I ran into a man who had an Alabama football shirt on and I got real excited.
So as we were headed back I looked to my right and there was this pink house with a lady on crutches and she also was wearing pink. Her daughter had on a pink shirt that said in English “Let It Go” So I looked at my team and said we have to pray for her. So we walked over there and she took us in her house. All the walls were pink, the curtains, her hammock, everything. At this point I’m totally pinked out. Oh and her name was Rosa and PINK in Spanish is Rosado.
Anyways, we prayed for her ankle, which was fractured for 2 months because there is not any way for her to seek medical attention for it. So she just has continually made it worse. The next day she had no pain and was not wearing her brace and just had one crutch for caution. The Lord is so faithful. He knew that we had to go meet with her to take care of that fracture for her. We went back to her house each night and continued to pray for it. But after we walked out of her house the first night, I was so in tune with the voice of the Lord that I knew we had somewhere else we had to go. But right then I told my team about the color pink and that the Lord has other things in mind as well dealing with pink.
We walked to the end of her street and there was this church that had its doors open and their band was just getting it. So when I hear music I automatically head to where its at. This church is pink. The band was in pink, the little girls dancing were in pink, the words on the wall, everything. So I look at my team who now know about it and we just laugh. So I look up where the altar is and there was this lady weeping before the Lord on her face that I just knew she had chains to be broken. So I walked up there and just started praying over her and after like 15 minutes she looked at me and you can tell that she was just set free from whatever she was dealing with  I don’t know what it was and its not my business, all that matters is that she has claimed her freedom in the name of Jesus and I told her I loved her and was praying for her.
This is just day one and I had already fell in love with the presence of  the Lord in that town.  He totally has his hand over it and he just needed us there for his glory. But just to think that I was done with seeing pink, I was not. He had something greater planned.
